Year 6 Residential at Grittleton House
24th - 28th June 2019
Monday 24th June - Midday
All have arrived safely at Grittleton House and are in the process of unpacking!
Tuesday 25th June - 10.45am
We are well into our activities on day two, having successfully completed our first round of challenges yesterday - some of us climbed, others tackled the low ropes course and another had to 'escape from Grittleton House'. After all of our exploring the house and grounds we also took part in either a night hike or campfire. We (teachers) believe that all children did sleep at some point during the night and we know everyone made it down to breakfast on time!
Please keep an eye on the school website for further updates.
Thursday 27th June - 3pm
The weather is beautiful and activities are in full swing. Our last couple of days have been spent zorbing, water rolling, karting, and taking part in a crate stacking challenge to name but a few. The children have shown fantastic team work, healthy competition and great communication in order to achieve the very best from each activity. Staff from school and the centre are delighted by the positive behaviour of the group and their thoughtfulness towards one another.
