This term the school council have been thinking about the meaning of well-being and how the school can improve the well-being for the children. The members of the school council are talking and sharing ideas with their classes to feed back at our next meeting.
School Council 2017-18
As part of our pupil voice at Court Lane Junior School, we have elected a member of the class to attend school council meetings every fortnight. Following the meetings, the school councillors then feedback to their classes and gather other children's opinions and thoughts on a particular topic. So far this year, we have discussed: how to use PTA money to benefit learning; what well-being means; an E Safety poster vote and we are due to go to the University of Chichester as part of our learning about pupil voice.
